Review: 2012 Ford Edge

BUT... I know that turbo chargers have in the past been nothing but trouble. Look at 80 Chryslers, and late 90 VW Passats if you think I make this up. MAYBE they have fixed these issues, but can you just see some suburban family, not knowing much about cars, not changing oil when it should be, or not doing the maintanance on time, and having the turbo go out before 100,000??!! Or the turbo is on it's last legs, and the family sells it to some unsuspecting fool who then has to deal with a bad turbo. I'll wait this out until the votes are in if these things will last. ALL my cars go over 200,000 before I'm done with them!

I will drive my current vehicle into the ground before buying anything new, used, EV, Inbred, diesel, hydrogen, alternative fuel, CNG, concept or anything else. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. Consider using other forms of less expensive transportation to lower your cost. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012

Just the same, time for a restyle - the big, gaudy three bar chrome grill hasn't aged especially well, or translated well from the original Fusion to larger vehicles.

Would be interested in taking the vehicle out for a demo. The only issue is that the more technology that is implemented, the more things that can go wrong and the higher cost for repair.
