Welcome aboard David (bell05). My SLK is a 2006 280SLK that the wife allowed me to buy for a retirement toy. Its biggest surprise was its fuel economy... which on our wedding got up to 36 mpg on the highway and 32mpg for the total 2500 mile trip to cape cod from Michigan along with all our running around. hehe.. a bribe will get your everywhere... Thank you everyone for all the encouragemet on keeping my consecutive days going... but a brief trip with the wife out of town found us in a dead zone. By the time we were home... it was too late.
